Sara’s path into Osteopathy began with an injury of her own, more than 14 years ago. What started as a search for relief turned into a career. She completed the four year program at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton, Ontario, graduating with well over the required 4200 hours of education and earning her Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc), along with the John Martin Littlejohn Award of Excellence. Sara is a past board member of the Ontario Osteopathic Association and a current member in good standing with OSTCAN.
What holds her interest is the question underneath the symptom. She would rather understand why the body is struggling than quiet the noise it makes, and she believes the body knows how to heal when spirit, mind and body are working together.
Sara´s learning has never really stopped. In 2019, she completed a post graduate program in Animal Osteopathy at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, a natural step for someone who has always loved animals. She also deepened her knowledge of Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and SomatoEmotional Release (SER) through the Upledger Institute, work that showed her how often pain carries an emotional layer alongside the physical one. Continuing her learning, Sara trained in concussion protocol at the Concussion Rehab Lab in Toronto, a clinic known for research informed care of persistent post concussion symptoms. Additionally, her training in Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) has brought real change for her chronic patients.
Sara brings all of this into the treatment room, and into every healing journey she is trusted with.
